Steve Boran & Brad Mills
High View Htg & AC
00 & 6
"I love this tournament...thanks for having me".  Those were the humble words so eloquently spoken by big Steve Boran when interviewed right after backstopping High View Heating & AC to their first Campbell Tourney Championship.  When asked about an MVP nomination, Team Captain Bob Kurker said "there are a lot of guys in this room who deserve it, we gutted this thing out. But Stevie kept us in it all weekend and kept us from getting down after Friday's tough start."  Boran made several tremendous saves down the stretch to hold off Team Campbell's attempted comeback in the final.

The former Merrimack College standout led High View Heating & AC in scoring during round robin play with 3 goals and 3 assists for 6 points.  He then carried High View on his back in the championship game with a Hat Trick.  Brad scored two third period goals to rally High View from a 4-2 deficit and tie the game.  When goalie Steve Boran was asked about Mills' play he stated "what can you say, he got us back in this thing and gave us a shot to win it.  Without Brad Mills, we would have been watching Team Campbell get their picture taken with this placque".

Jack Koen
Team Chisholm
1
"That guy stood on his head."  These were the words muttered by four different teams leaving the ice in defeat at the Quincy Youth Arena.  Jack Koen only allowed 1 goal in the 3 game round robin.  When asked about his performance after game 3 Jack stated, "The guys are playing great in front of me, the only thing that matters is the W."  Jack earned the MVP nod with his stellar performance in the Championship Game.  Team Chisholm jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and Jack made sure the leads throughout the game held up.  He turned aside multiple Team Campbell scoring chances in the last 10 minutes of the classic battle to preserve a 5-4 win and Team Chisholm's first tourney championship.

Harry had 8 assists on the weekend to help lead "The Ridgefield Connection" to a 26-point weekend.  Harry's playmaking was the biggest reason for Team Campbell's hard fought round two win against The Roman Empire, paving the way for Team Campbell's fourth title in five years.  Congratulations to Dan and Harry Geary.
